In our business of fabricating precision components, many companies either specialize in machining or specialize in stamping. A long time ago we realized the need to have multiple capabilities in order to control the most important aspects of the manufacturing process. We at Romac take pride in offering our customers a wide array of services that encompass both machining and stamping…all under one roof. At the core are highly trained technicians. Many of the parts produced in our facility contain a combination of both machining and stamping where a stamped part will need secondary machining in order to achieve a close tolerance. 

Our skilled technicians will design and implement the most economical and productive method for fabrication. In addition to our automated equipment, we have a fully staffed department providing manual operations such as turning, drilling, milling, tapping, polishing, threading, and grinding. Now, secondary machining operations on your stampings are available to you under one roof from one vendor thereby reducing costs, paperwork and parts handling.

Romac specializes in machining close tolerance, hard-to-machine exotic alloys, especially KOVAR®.
With a wide array of machines ranging from manual chuckers, to CNC Milling and Turning Centers, Romac can offer you whatever you need.

Presses ranging from 2.5 tons to 110 tons are the core of the stamping department. Whether parts are finished complete in the press department made from a progressive die, or parts that are formed and ready for secondary operations…We have the capability of offering economies of scale which lead to lower production costs, lower prices to our customers, and superior quality.

TOOLING

FINISHING

Our facility has a library of tooling especially in the area of draw dies that can be utilized for primary operations and engineering new products. This reduces tooling costs to our customers and can help cut valuable lead-time for production. Complete tool design and building by our highly qualified tool makers are the nucleus of our stamping department.

Not to be overlooked is our finishing department that provides a full range of methods to provide a finished product free of burrs or other cosmetic defects. We have a full staff dedicated to tumbling, vibrating, degreasing, and deburring with methods ranging from ultrasonic to hand deburring.
